The Mighty Experience 4...A Night to Remember!!
8/14/2010..The Mighty Experience 4 at Apache Cafe was a night to remember!!..If you weren’t there, you missed a genuine moment in hip hop. Atlanta’s own Killer Mike aka Mike Bigga showed why he is a well-respected member of the hip hop community by hitting the stage and shutting it down. The energy in the Apache was electric as Mike Bigga took us on a little journey through time, performing hits from the past and then bringing us up to date with new material that left no doubt that “Killa Kill from Adamsville” remains just as focused as ever on being a dope MC and making honest, soul-stirring music. If you were in the building and you weren’t at least nodding your head feverishly, something was wrong with you.
After the crowd was treated to outstanding performances from acts such as GoldenChyld, Ms Chee, Jam Poet, Triple Threat, Qualo of Southern Creed and The PRODUX, Mighty Network took the stage with The Mighty Band. Seeing all the people in the building waving “WE MIGHTY” towels, and chanting “WE MIGHTY” was a crazy feeling. It was like an army of supporters forming a united front ready to stand up for this beautiful hip hop thing of ours. It was more than just a concert, it was a gathering of those that appreciate music and understand what the Mighty movement is about. They came to see a show and witness. And Mighty Network delivered in a major way. The Mighty Band sounded amazing, providing an inspired musical backdrop for Mighty Network MCs Redcoat, Sleep, and Dubb to deliver the lyrics that reached out and pulled the crowd in deeper. Shoutout to Ms Dia and Danger for doing an excellent job hosting the event, and a big shoutout goes to surprise special guest Bobby Creekwater and Big Krit for coming through and showing love..Another historic night for the Apache Cafe, and everyone who was there to witness…..WE MIGHTY!!
